About Me
I trained as a Humanistic Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist at the Dublin Counselling and Therapy Centre and graduated in 2012 with their four year professional diploma in counselling and psychotherapy.
I have an MSc in Loss and Bereavement Counselling from The Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in conjunction with The Irish Hospice Foundation.
I am accredited by the Irish Association of Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and registrant of the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP).
Integrity
For integrity in my work, I subscribe to a Humanistic Integrative code of ethics, adhere to Children First guidelines, attend regular clinical supervision, have professional insurance and am dedicated to continual professional development.
Additional Training
In 2019, I completed a 2 year training in creating experiential therapeutic structures for groups using the philosophies of Paul Rebillot with the Fools Dance Gestalt Company.
I am now an apprentice facilitator with this company, which hosts week long residential workshops such as The Hero's Journey, The Lover's Journey, Owning the Shadow, Death and Resurrection, The Dream Tarot, etc. For further information, click here.
