Humanistic Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy
As a counsellor and psychotherapist, I work from a Humanistic Integrative perspective - an approach that adopts a more holistic view of human existence which takes into account the physical body, the emotions, the mind and spirit of a person. It holds the belief that at a fundamental level all persons are ok and that they are capable of change.
Therapy endeavours to facilitate personal growth. Troubling issues are seen as opportunities for such personal growth and development. This is not to dismiss the impact the issues may be having in the here and now, and therefore support is an essential part of the counselling and psychotherapy journey.
